Looking at the river Pielach in an integrative and holistic way
Water development and risk management concepts (GE-RM) are a higher-level planning instrument. The entire river basin is examined with regard to possible hazards (floods) and as a valuable habitat (ecology). The objectives for flood protection and the ecological goals are brought together and a joint concept of measures is developed.
On behalf of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government, RIOCOM, together with ezb and REVITAL is preparing a GE-RM for the Pielach.
