Inspection of the Mur during the preparation of the hazard zone plan
The first draft of the mid-Mur hazard zone plan was presented on site during a two-day on-site event.
In previous runoff investigations in Styria, no joint inspections with planners and clients were planned in the specification of services of the project. Only after the additional creation of hazard zones are inspections to be carried out after the first draft has been available.
The inspections took place in strong wind, but partly spring-like temperatures. The inspection enabled all participants to better understand the flood events and the hazard zones.
Assessing whether it is a secured shore or an unsecured shore was the biggest challenge.
In the coming months, the hazard zone plan will be presented and launched in the communities.
