The project evaluated ecological and social effects of volunteer disaster aid and developed proposals for the future direction and the strengthening of volunteer work.<\/p>\n<p>In the course of several working sessions in Vorarlberg, Styria and Vienna, recommendations for actions have been developed, which were published in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.umweltbundesamt.at\/fileadmin\/site\/publikationen\/REP0529.pdf\">report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cmsms_column one_third\">\n<div class=\"cmsms_text
