{"id":5533,"date":"2023-07-20T13:49:52","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T11:49:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riocom.at\/?p=5533"},"modified":"2024-06-20T13:58:42","modified_gmt":"2024-06-20T11:58:42","slug":"water-management-with-agricultural-stakeholders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riocom.at\/en\/water-management-with-agricultural-stakeholders\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovations for water management with agricultural stakeholders"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-post-thumbnail wp-image-5530\" src=\"https:\/\/riocom.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/P1016761-820x490.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" height=\"490\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>A workshop by RIOCOM delivered two innovative prototypes<\/h3>\n<p class=\"TextinBeschreibungs-Tabellen\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Based on a comprehensive problem analysis through interviews with mayors, RIOCOM organized an innovation workshop around the question: <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"TextinBeschreibungs-Tabellen\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">How can we support municipalities and farmers in joint water management?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"TextinBeschreibungs-Tabellen\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Experts from agriculture, regional development, water management and participation met for a day to develop solutions. Despite very high temperatures on this hot summer day, the teams successfully developed two tangible, vivid prototypes for participatory formats within a few hours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"TextinBeschreibungs-Tabellen\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">One prototype symbolized the idea of an experience-oriented exhibition about the waters and land use in the respective region and encouraged participants to develop their own ideas and visions for water management. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"TextinBeschreibungs-Tabellen\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The second prototype visualized an event format to bring together administration, science and practice for constructive exchange and vision building. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"TextinBeschreibungs-Tabellen\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">We would like to thank all participants, KLAR! managers and mayors for their valuable input and WAFF for funding the workshop as part of the project <a href=\"https:\/\/riocom.at\/projekt\/fit-fuer-den-klimawandel-durch-wirksame-kommunikation\/\">&#8220;Fit f\u00fcr den Klimawandel durch wirksame Kommunikation&#8221;<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Diversity of perspectives is essential for real innovation.
