{"id":2927,"date":"2017-09-20T11:43:32","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T09:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/riocom.at\/?p=2927\/"},"modified":"2017-10-18T10:31:24","modified_gmt":"2017-10-18T08:31:24","slug":"are-you-flood-ready","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riocom.at\/en\/are-you-flood-ready\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you Flood Ready?"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-post-thumbnail wp-image-2939\" src=\"https:\/\/riocom.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/17_20_InfoKampagne_01-820x490.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" height=\"490\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>Start of the Awareness Campaign &#8220;Self Protection Flood&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Am I FloodReady?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe citizens of Styria will be busy thinking about this question until the end of 2018.<br \/>\nThe campaign &#8216;Self Protection Flood&#8217; aims to strengthen the capabilities of the population to deal with their personal flood risk in the best possible manner. In all 287 Styrian communities <strong>information events<\/strong> will be held. Furthermore a <strong>personal flood folder<\/strong> supports flood prevention activities with many helpful tips and templates.<\/p>\n<p>On August 10, the project was already presented to the general public with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kommunikation.steiermark.at\/cms\/beitrag\/12600678\/29767960\/\">press conference<\/a> by the deputy state governer of the Styria and official in charge for civil protection <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politik.steiermark.at\/cms\/ziel\/5470124\/de\/\">Michael Schickhofer<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politik.steiermark.at\/cms\/ziel\/210091\/DE\/\">Johann Seitinger<\/a>, official in charge for flood protection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a project partner, RIOCOM is intensively involved in the conception and implementation of the campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We create the personal flood folder and the presentation for the information events<\/li>\n<li>We train the presenters<\/li>\n<li>We provide professional inputs for the campaign implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The preparatoy work is completed.
