This took place in the course of the so called \u201c<strong>Brown Bag Lunch<\/strong>\u201d at the World Bank office in Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the event were<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the illustration of challenges in flood risk management, and<\/li>\n<li>the presentation of the innovative software <a href=\"https:\/\/riocom.at\/simulation\/\">VISDOM <\/a>and its valuable contributions for decision support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The introduced software is a sophisticated, visual analysis-system, which can provide important help in decision making, e.g. to emergency forces in case of a serious flood event.<\/p>\n<p>A lively discussion took place, which showed the great interest in the given presentations.
